Social Stars – Parent Group

Our consultant Cynthia Ewers-Cobb started Social Stars Group with 3 parents and their 3 boys. All boys had been identified as having behavioural, emotional and social difficulties in school and at home. As such, the boys found it difficult to make friends and engage in school work. Social Stars Group has taught the boys how to interact with other children, given them ideas on self-directed leisure time activities and has taught the mothers how to better support their children's behaviour. 

The school's SENCo also reported that all three boys have been identified as friends and regularly play together in and out of school.
